Amanda Buzzetta, originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, has spent the last 15 years in East Orlando. She graduated with Bachelors degrees in Microbiology & Molecular Biology and Music from the University of Central Florida in 2015. Her musical experience includes performing in top UCF ensembles (wind ensemble and jazz band) and performing with Top 40/Latin bands such as Caliente Band, NFusion, Hit Factory, The Outer Toons, and Jonnie Morgan Band.
She was the trombonist for Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s Bongos Cuban Café House Band for four years, and has performed with this group in venues across the country and in the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas several times. Amanda is also a solo recording artist and released her first single Sassbone earlier this year. She currently teaches trombone and low brass private lessons, master classes in Orange County Public Schools, and continues to perform as a freelance musician locally. In the fall of 2017 she will be attending medical school to pursue a career in osteopathic medicine.
