Brian Gill

Brian Gill was born in New York City. Brian toured around the country and Canada with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corp from West Chester, PA when he was 15 through 18 years old. He became the youngest soloist in Drum Corp finals history and placed 6th in Drum Corp International finals in 1992.

Brian majored in Jazz Performance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA and studied under the late Rick Kerber. Brian continued as a jazz performance major at the University of Miami and studied under Roger Ingram, and won the Downbeat Award for best small group jazz ensemble while attending The University of Miami.  Brian also studied and later toured with Arturo Sandoval at Florida International University.

Brian has played and/or toured with Arturo Sandoval, KC & The Sunshine Band, David Sanborn, Tito Puente, Pacquito D’Rivera, Tito Nieves, James Moody, Max Roach, Bobby Shew, Nestor Torres, Tito Gomez, Maelo Ruiz, Tito Gomez, Domingo Quiñones, Rob McConnell, Robin Eubanks, Greg Osby, Wallace Roney, John Lee, Kenny Barron, Louie Belson, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Ignacio Berroa, Jimmy Smith, Disney’s Future Corp, and many others.

Brian currently resides in Wellington, FL.
